The Three Lakes Cranberry Marsh and Winery Tours are back! Check out the harvest, learn about winemaking, and enjoy lots of samples! Join a tour, now departing from Three Lakes!
Tours of the Tamarack Flowage Cranberry Marsh and the Three Lakes Winery have been a tradition for nearly two decades. The tour is filled with new insight into cranberry growing and wine making, thanks to knowledgeable tour guides who escort the visitors during the entire length of the trip.
Shortly after departing Three Lakes Winery, you will take a scenic drive through a private cranberry marsh. Your guide will describe the cranberrygrowing process, the cranberry harvest and the activities of the marsh that take place during the rest of the year. After the Marsh Tour, the bus will return to Three Lakes Winery. The winery tour includes a general history of the operation, an explanation of the winemaking process and perhaps you’ll even have a chance to stir a bubbling batch of fermenting cranberry wine! Next stop: the fully automated bottling line. You’ll see bottles filled with wine, corked and labeled all in just a matter of seconds.
An elaborate wine tasting follows that includes samples of sausage, cheese, and several varieties of wines, including the winery's gold medal cranberry wine.
Tours last approximately 1hr and 45 minutes departing from Three Lakes Winery. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour departure.
